We're still on Term Break here, Morgan was still sick for our first week & most of that time was spent attempting to locate a Dr who'd be able to see him. This is the second time we've had a Dr retire & not notify us, perhaps we don't frequent the Dr enough or something. The hospital informed us the office had been closed for 18 months & was shocked we didn't know. I told them it's been at least 36 months or more since any of us have had need of a Dr.. you know, not counting my ER visit. Anyway.. our second week has been riddled heavily with rain, now that Morgan is back to his normal self.
The other day I was trying to find something fun for the boys to do because we were all going a little stir crazy when I stumbled upon step-by-step instructions to draw Grumpy Cat. You know who Grumpy Cat is right? All the rage with those crazy grumpy captions that seem to be floating around Pintrest & Facebook.. Some of them have caused some great laughs around here, but the idea of drawing the cat wasn't something we'd considered.
That is, until we spotted the lovely step-by-step instructions over on Art Projects For Kids. All of the lessons over there tend to be quite simplistic, which I love. So Morgan & I had a go of drawing this crazy grumpy cat.. while watching Mythbusters.. Something quite odd about grumpy cats & two guys who blow things up for a living, but it made for a fun combination. I actually quite like Morgan's much better then my own, his is on the right. Mine seems a bit squarish. Not that it matters, the idea was to have a bit of fun. Seriously, try drawing a grumpy cat & not laughing..
