May Review

Our latest review is up over at The Curriculum Review. I've mentioned & explained Ka-Ching here before, but we shared it this month with the readers over on the review blog. It's still one of the favourite games for practicing multiplication.  If you haven't heard of the game before it's pretty quick & simple.

It's like using the stock market, but instead of investing too deeply you trade in all the stocks you purchased for money. The way to know how much money you've earned you must multiply like stocks together. It's really quick to learn, & just about as quick to play. It's pretty addictive too once you figure out the trick to being able to buy low & sell high.

I love it when we can use games to help reinforce what the kids are learning, it seems like much less work for them in regards to practicing.
