Recently we've come up with a new way to learn our Bible verses. The idea is not mine, it was shared by Melinda, who derived it from another source. Yet, it was such a great and easy idea we've been applying it to our mornings as well. I really like the simplisticness of it. Anyway.. we didn't do our verses over breakfast this morning so while eating a candlelight dinner (the power was flickering due to storms) I pulled out the box to read todays verses.. We've been working on Psalms 56:3 "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." Yes, we use KJV here.

Anyway, I asked Jayden what he would do when he was scared and he said, "I'll trust in someone." I asked who. "V I guess, but I don't really understand why we trust the letter v if we're scared!" I'm pretty sure that some green beans were spit across the table from the laughter. I had to explain to him that a long time ago they use to say "fancy" words that mean simple things, but that was after I stopped laughing and caught my breath...
